Introduction:
BEX was designed to extend the MLC bus beyond a single distribution box. It requires 12Vdc power and is bidirectional, and can be used on both sides of the MLC bus.

Architecture:
It provides an isolated full-duplex RS-485 physical layer to transfer the bus data. RJ-45 is the connector on board and can be used with UTP cables.
No data manipulation is conducted, the board contains no programmable components.
